Music Review #10: One Direction [Story Of My Life]

Today, I'm reviewing a One Direction song. Actually, it might be just me, but I find this song very sad, yet meaningful in a depressing way.

Most of you know that One Direction is releasing their third studio album in just two years. Ever since their breakthrough hit, their very first song I might add, 'What Makes You Beautiful', the band soars through the charts. They have won the hearts of millions of fans all over the world.

I know a lot of Directioners, in person and over blogging. Though I've never been into them that much, I admit that they are pretty talented and hilarious. Might I add, (this is painful) a little cute. I can understand why the band has been successful. But... even so, they're not very high on my list. I'll talk about that later. (And if you don't want to read this post. Skip to the end and read.)

'Story of My Life' is a song speaking of love, tragic love actually. It begins with doubt from the girl, sometimes the boys don't get. "Written in these walls are stories I can't explain/I leave my heart open, but it stays empty/She said she didn't feel the same about us in her bones/IT seems when I die these words will be written on my stone."

Now it seems like this guy could be... talking about suicide or the breakup? "And I'll be gone, gone tonight/The ground beneath my feet is open wide/The way I've been holding on too tight/With nothing in between."

The chorus tells the story of this relationship and how it ended. "The story of my life/I take her home/I drive all night to keep her warm/And time is frozen/The story of my life/I give her hope/I spend her love/Until she's broke inside."

The second speaks of the wish to forget this girl, but the boys can't. "Leave my heart open/But it still stays in this cage/I know that in the morning now I see us in the night on the hill/Although I am broken my heart is untamed still."

No matter what they wish, they know that the relationship is hopeless. "But baby chasing your heart is like chasing the clouds."

Though this song has a bit of hope, it speaks of a hopeless and broken relationship. It speaks truth. We try to forget things. We try to forget the people who have broke us and let us down, but there are some things we just can't let go off. Thankfully, it does eventually resent living in the past. But moving on is not a subject in this ballad.

The music video, which was released today, takes a different direction. It shows the boys remembering their family as they live in the moments they can't get back.

We never known when life will take a whole different direction, as these talent completions have shown us. So we should live today as if the next day everything will know will be gone. Anything can happen. God has a plan that no one knows about. So we should 'live like there's no tomorrow'.

Of course, this doesn't really when applied to temporary relationships. Something what we want to think is good can be bad for us.

I actually do like One Direction. Don't get me wrong. I love how they're goof half the time, but when the time comes, they are willing to be serious. I've realized why One Direction is such a popular choice, especially with teenage girls. Because they care about girls. They sincerely care. Half the rap songs out these days are totally insulting to woman. That guy, Robin Thickke, who's video is still on the top ten on iTunes, actually has lyrics like, "I fell in love with 'that thing'." That makes me want to puke.

On the other hand, One Direction don't see woman as 'thing'. They're not trying to be heartthrobs either. You know they're sincere when they talk about us and they're very sweet. But, all things considered, I won't follow One Direction for really one reason. They might have good intentions, but still, they have on they wrong with that. I'm just going to say this plainly because I know it without a doubt. They're views on sex before marriage are wrong.

Think about it. They're released two albums, one to come. The hit albums are called, 'Up All Night', 'Take Me Home' and 'Midnight Memories.' What idea do you get after reading these titles? Even in this song is suggestive! No fan can deny that these guys talk about night a lot. Their hit, 'Little Things' talks about the girl talking in her sleep. Ask yourself this question. How would he know she talks in her sleep? Furthermore, how would he know she has dimples in the back of the spine? The answer is pretty clear.

You might think that this is unclear. But one song talks about it directly. A bonus track on their second album, 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' starts out like this: "Am I awake, asleep, or something in between/I can't believe that you are here/Lying next to me." You can't argue with that.

I think people just don't really realize what they really mean because, again, they have stolen the hearts of teen girls. But we have to apply this to a Biblical perspective when the world doesn't.

So while One Direction has hope, they have one gap. Purity. Losing your purity is something you can never take back, something that you could live in forever. Unfortunately, One Direction don't see value of purity.

Music Review Monday 4# You're Not Sorry (Taylor Swift)
Today I'm going to review a song by a very popular artist. Can you guess who it is? I'll  giver you  clue. Whenever this person releases a  song, the reaction from the media and her fans is.... "Wow! Okay, what famous celebrity guy is it about this time?"

Do you get it?

Taylor Swift is well known for her autobiography style to her music. She even went as far as saying the name in the song, 'Dear John', (which is probably about her ex, John Mayer) She admitted 'Forever and Always' to be about Joe Jonas on the Ellen Show. I have to admit, though I have loved Taylor Swift ever since I watched the 'You Belong With Me' video, she can be a little mean. I can even understand maybe why she would put the names in the songs, but sometimes, (The Grammys, for instance), she can go a little too far.

Actually, one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs at the moment, is a older song from her breakthrough album, Fearless. Called 'You're Not Sorry', a remix of the song was in CSI episode which Swift guest starred in.

'You're Not Sorry' talk about a relationship which Taylor is sick of a boyfriend saying "I'm sorry," when he hurts her again and again. The song is slow and mostly has piano in it. It's country rock.

"All this time I was wasting/Hoping you could come around," she begins sadly. "I've been giving out chances every time/And you do is let me down/And it's taking me this long, baby/But I've figured you out/And you're thinking we'll be fine again, but not this time around."

That's pretty much the whole song's idea. We learn what he did in their second verse. "You got your share of secrets/And I'm tired of being last to know/You're asking me to listen 'cuz it's worked each time before." She also tells the boy how much she really did love him. "You used to shine so bright, but I watch all of it fade... You can tell me that you're sorry/But I don't believe you baby like I did before/You're not sorry/No, no."

This song is mentioned in her fearless quote. "When someone keeps apologizing for things they'll stop doing, I think it's fearless to say 'you're not sorry.' I think it's fearless to walk away."

Of course, this is a good reason to break up with your boyfriend. If you realize that the guy is doing things behind your back, and he keeps apologizing, yet, he doesn't improve, you should break up with him. But what's sad is that the relationship used to be way different. When parents from a family I knew, broke up, I was sad, mostly because I remember what it used to be. That's one of the saddest parts about any broken relationships.

I was thinking about this song one day, and I thought, 'Wow, how different would we be if God applied this same thing with us?" You've apologized to God for uncountable things. I have What if God thought, "Well, you're not sorry." Then He walked away. The question is: Why doesn't He
?

He doesn't because he knows our heart. He knows when we're sorry and when we're not. Even when there's a certain time when he knows we're not sorry, but He forgives us anyway and makes us realize it. Why?

Because of Jesus. Because He died for our sins. If you put your trust in Him, He will give you  a new desire for Him. That doesn't mean you'll be perfect. You'll mess up alright. But because Jesus died for us, God can know forgive us. How? By just asking Him. He gives us that desire to change too.

Isn't that awesome to think about? God loves you so much. He'll never let you go, say 'you're not sorry', or walk away. Why? Because of Jesus. Because He is loving, kind, and forgiving.

So Swift was probably being just in her song, but we know of more just message, a message that doesn't bring us down.

Music Review Monday #3 (Atlas)

I was originally going to review a Katy Perry song, but I've been talking about her a little too much lately. So I decided about two seconds ago to review a lead single to a soundtrack, Catching Fire. This song is 'Atlas' by Coldplay.

Catching Fire, the second book to the Hunger Games Series (which I am obsessed with these days). The movie is coming on this November:)

Coldplay, which I really wasn't familiar with until I noticed that the lead song from the soundtrack had been released, is a British rock band that was formed in 1996. Compared to all the stars I listen to, they are very old. The song is talking about the relationship between the book's hero and heroine, Katniss and Peeta.

Okay, I would like to say, that I read the Hunger Games books this year. At first I wasn't sure about them, but soon, after finally reading the Mocking Jay, the final book, I realized I was a Hunger Game freak! The books are so good and I love going back to them and reading the parts again, and never get tired of it. That's  something I love and look for in books. The emotion, the love, and the intensity of these books are amazing!

Okay, I had to say that. Now onto the song. It is a slow, haunting tune, which according to the lyrics, is a promise between two friends to protect each other. But also, it sounds like a cry out for guidance to... God?

Right away, the lyrics are influenced by the book."Some saw the sun," the lead singer begins. "Some saw the smoke/Some heard the gun/Some bent the bow." The violent, and cruel world is present here in this song, like 'Safe and Sound', the lead single of the first movie.

The bridge speaks of the rebellion plot in the book. "Sometimes the wire must tense for a note/Catching in the fire, oh/We are about to explode."

The promise to love and protect is in the chorus. "Carry your world/I'll carry your world." The second verse talks about many people's love for fame and adventure. "Some search for gold/Some dragons to slay."

Crying out for help, the song mentions God and Heaven, though neither is mentioned in any of the books. "Heaven we hope is just down the road/Show me the way, Lord/'Cuz I am about to explode."

The song, though doesn't have many lyrics, says a great deal of words. The connection to the book, its plot and the relationship between the two main characters, is clear. (Well, if you've read the book and seen the movie) Through it, though, Katniss and Peeta do 'carry each other's world.' Katniss by protecting Peeta's life and Peeta by protecting and comforting her heart when their world falls apart around them.

I was quite surprised to see a cry to God for guidance, since, the book, though many people die, never mentions afterlife or God. One of the few things I disliked about the books was how many characters died. But the funny thing, expect for maybe one of Katniss' dreams, no one even spoke about what would happen after death.

Though the book doesn't mention God, this song does. I'm glad it did. I've always adored the relationship between Katniss and Peeta with all my heart. This song, though doesn't involve a catchy beat or killer vocals, is beautiful. The promise and cry out to God gives us a lesson the book fails to give.

If I really like a song I'm going to post it, so here it is!

Music Review Monday #2 (American Girl)

Being patriotic is a good thing, but when it can go a little too far, it can sound very selfish, stupid, and unwise.

Bonnie McKee hasn't released any music since 2004. Though she has been co-writing with Katy Perry, no original music has come out of her, until recently. This June, 'American Girl' was released. McKee isn't exactly patriotic  in this song, but it does bring up our free country.

In her summer tune, McKee sings about who she is... in a I'm-my-own-boss manner. "I feel in love 7/11 in the parking lot," she begins. Quickly, she brings alcohol into the mix "Sat on the curb drinking slurpees we mixed with alcohol."

That's just the beginning. At the first verse, I get that she has ambitions to conquer the world as her tells her beau, "I got a plan and I'm going to dominate." Though she isn't interest in getting serious, she's interested in getting physical. "I don't need a man getting in my way/But if you talk with your hands/Then we can negotiate."

Coming right after, the catchy hook says who she is, and what's she her for. "I'll just keep moving my body/I'm always ready to party/I'll never listen to Mommy/and I'll never say I'm sorry."

"I'm an American girl!" she shouts. "I'm loving taking over the world/I'm hot blooded/I was raised by a television/Every day is a competition."

In the second verse, McKee talks about buying love. "I want to a new heart out of a vending machine/Cuz baby it's a free country/So we can do anything."

There's not much more to the song than that. When I first heard this on the radio, I thought,
'Wow, this is so catchy." But when I listened to the lyrics of the upbeat hook, I released not only is this very wrong, but it isn't very smart either, like this whole song.

Some songs have a feminist edge to them that just ruins the mood. Unfortunately, the part about ruling the world isn't my main concern. By the lyrics, and the music video, I can tell that she did rule the world, it would not be pretty.

But she probably can't help it. After she, she admits she was raised by a television, (as stupid as that seems). Sometimes I get caught up in the pop culture. Sometimes I feel like our generation is raised by a television or a screen. Because that's what entertains us. Because there's not much more in life. Well, that's what we think. But look what happens when someone is raised by a television or an iPod, or the internet.

The music video has even more junk than the song itself. In it, she goes into a store, gets stuff, and convinces the guy to let her off the hook when she forgets her money. It looked as she never meant to pay him in the first place. She and her friends also steal a convertible from a shirtless guy with a lot of tattoos. She changes shirts in this car too. Just her backside is shown for a second or two.

Well, though she defends herself by saying this is a free country. But while we might be free to act like we want, it doesn't mean we're always right. I think we all can agree there is a long list that our country has made legal that isn't right. Since McKee co-wrote songs like 'Roar and 'Teenage Dream', we can be sure her view of living isn't a godly view.

If this song defines what a American girl is, I certainly don't want to be one. But I know this isn't what defines our American girls. Sure, we might be all American, but the American girls we can look up to, are woman like Clara Barton, Abail Adams, and Harriet Tubman. Not the girls described in this 'patriotic' song.

I'm sorry, Miss McKee, but you can't buy love and just because our country is free doesn't give you the right to do what you want do if its wrong.

So just like slurpee described in the song (like you would get at a gas station or Burger King), it might look good, but inside it has alcohol. Just like this song might be catchy, but inside is a message that can eat you alive.

The Great Begining... and the Horrifying Now

Miley Cyrus has been quite a popular topic this week.

Her performance at the VMAS (MTV Music Video Awards) was with Robin Thickie  was apparently really bad. Everyone is talking about it, from secular critics to my local Christian radio station broadcaster. Yes, it was that bad. Parents are upset because that used to be the girl that their younger children looked up to on Hannah Montana. Other comments talk about having nightmares with her... front and center. Just like it has been since Sunday.

First of all, I would like to confess, that though I didn't watch this performance, but did see a few pictures, I am disgusted. But not surprised for three reasons.

1. This is VMAs we're talking about here. MTV! A lot of really terrible things happen at this award show.

2. She did a duet with Robin Thicke. His #1 video was blocked by Youtube! I don't even want to say why!

3. This is Miley Cyrus. Sure, she was good on Hannah Montana. She was great until those pictures got out about three years ago. But let's face the sad truth: That girl died. Because if you look at her back in 2009 and get a glimpse of her now. Oooo... big difference. It's sad. She's sad. She's so vain. I remember reading her autobiography a few years ago. I saw the Psalms written in it. She talked about God and how He did great things in her life. I don't know what happened, but her story is a warning. When you get older, you change. There's no way around it. Only you can decide how you want to change. You have to surround yourself with godly influences. I've heard stories like this, not about celebrities. It can happen to anyone, even you.

Okay, enough about that. Actually, the reason I'm taling about this is because I wanted to review her new song. Her album, Bangerz, (does it surprise me that I can't even pronounce that word?), is available for preorder. Not that I would want to preorder it! Six of those songs are explicit and you can tell by the album cover that this isn't very good.

'Wrecking Ball' is the lastest song by her. Though it is nothing like 'We Can't Stop', which talks about partying and taking drugs. It's more serious. It takes about a relationship, a relationship in which Miley is determine is make work, even if she has to force him into it.

Stating out, the song goes into a soft, haunting tune with Miley singing in a narrative. We see right away how violent this relationship is. "We clawed/We chained our hearts in vain." Also sexual. "We kissed/I fell under your spell/A love no one can deny."

She confesses that though this is a broken relationship, it was much more than it seemed. "Don't you ever say/I just walked away/I will always love you." Now she sings against what she seems to be already doing. "I can't live a lie/Running for my life/I will always love you."

Here comes her meatopher as the song builds up to a very powerful chorus. "I came in like a wrecking ball/I never hit so hard in love," she confesses. "All I wanted to do was break your walls, but you broke me."

Also, she sowerfully sings of how the relationship ended. "I put you high up in the sky/And now you're not coming down/It slowly turned/You let me burn/And now, we're ashes in the ground."

Miley did love this boy, so much she wanted to 'break his walls.' Some people, when their hearts have been broken before, have 'walls' when they get into other relationship. They're reluctant, shy, and sometimes even scared. 'Walls' is a popular metaphor in music.

But this song doesn't just talk about just another, regretful, sowerfull relationship. I'm afraid it is much more. The bridge hints to what could have been emotional, and even sexual abuse. Who's doing the abusing? Apparently right now, it's Miley. She even admits to being wrong about the way she 'came in like a wrecking ball'. "I never meant to start a war/I just wanted you to let me in/Instead of using force, I guess I should have let you in."

It is unclear who's fault this was. She went too far, and the boy gave it right back to her. The mentions towards a destructive, and perhaps abusive relationship come in multiple lines and ultimately, the whole idea of the song. "You wrecked me," she tells her ex-lover.

This song has a way better message than 'We Can't Stop.' (And it doesn't want to make me puke every time I hear it) It was well written, and it was honest. But it seems as if these lovers were just abusing each other. The sad fact is that Miley meant well, and it started with something as simple as a kiss.

It's a warning. Things might start innocently enough, but they have a destructing end. Just like Miley's career. It started so innocently with Hannah Montana. Now it's gone viral... for the wrong reasons.

One thing's for sure. Miley has demolished all the trust, and respect she had from her old fans and their parents. She has pulled the final straw, and now Hannah Montana, her autobiography, and her Christian faith, has turned into memories, memories that are slowly fading away.

It's funny. Whenever I hear a song like 'We Can't Stop', my first reaction is gag! But once I realize that person is someone I used to look up to, my feeling of disgust turns to sadness. It really is sad because things might have a great beginning, but with Hollywood, you never know how it's going to end.

Music Review Monday #1: Yours Truly

Love is something.

Innocent love, haunted love, forbidden love. All of it is a popular topic all over the world, especially in music. Sometimes I wish someone would sing about something more. But if it isn't about love, it's about partying. So I suppose I want something that, at least, means something.

When it comes to music, there's only two options these days. Partying or love. Or you could try a combination of them both. Once in awhile you get a respect-yourself anthem. But I'm getting less and less of that lately.

Ariana Grande is known for her starring roles in Sam and Cat and Victorious. Her single, 'The Way' was very popular and reached #32 on the Hot 100 Billboard charts.

'Yours Truly' is her new album. Featuring many collaborations, it is a love themed, Marey Carey styled, R&B album.

Wholesome Content

The second single, 'Baby I' is  a sweet love song in which Ariana tries to express her loving feelings. In the end, she simply just says 'I love you.' On that note, 'Right Here' is a promise to stay true to her lover. In 'Tattoed Heart', she assures her crush that all he needs to do is love her, instead having money or playing games.

One of the only 'breakup' songs on this album is 'You'll Never Know.' Ariana informs a guy he's too late and now she's got new guy who loves her. In 'Honeymoon Avenue', she longs for to make the next step in her relationship. Still, she has hope. "I know we'll find our way home."

The lead single, 'The Way', Grande commends her boy for getting her heart. The two songs that aren't love songs, are 'Popular Song' and 'Piano.' 'Popular Song' is a triumphant song, in which Grande doesn't let bullies' get in her down. Instead of writing a sad love song, she decides to write a fun, upbeat song on her new 'Piano.'

The only sad song in this album, 'Almost is Never Enough' regrets not sticking through an relationship and wishes it wasn't too late.

Unacceptable Content

A few songs are suggestive. Guest rapper Mac Miller raps, "Your bed feeling lonely/So you're sleeping in mine." Even though Ariana knows the relationship is ending, she still wants to be physical. "Hold on, shut up, and kiss me, baby/I just wanna get a little taste before you go." (Lovin' it)

Instead of confessing her true feelings to her ex-lover, once she leaves him, she decides to party the night away. She also mentions kissing. "I'm gonna say please/Make sure they kiss me." Night is mentioned the 'Daydreamin'. "I don't want to wait for the night." It's a tad bit suggestive.

Since honeymoons do involved sleeping together, and since Grande is not married, 'Hollywood Aveunue' suggests towards nights together.

In 'Right There', guest rapper Big Sean takes God's name in vain.

Conclusion

Well, there isn't much to say. You get the picture. Grande is in love. She's happy and in love. That's why I was liked about the album. A lot of artists, including Taylor Swift, can focus a little too much on the bad things about love. Ariana looks at the bright side of things in every one of these songs.

A lot of them did sound the same, and a few songs were suggestive, but overall, I loved this album! Ariana Grande has a beautiful voice. She did a little too high at times, but other than that, the vocals were lovely. The songs were catchy. Though a few rappers ruined the mood, espically in 'The Way', it was great.

Since this album is been #1 on the iTunes since it released last Tuesday, I think, for once, the public would agree with me.

Summary

Happiest Song: Baby I
Saddest Song: Almost Is Never Enough
Most Meaningful Song: Popular Song
Best Written: Hollywood Avenue
Most Sexual Content: The Way
Personal Favorite: Baby I/Popular Song

From 'Meow' to ROAR!

It's been about a year since we've heard from Katy Perry when she released Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. In her hit album, Teenage Dream, she sings
about running away with a guy, girls with binkies, fireworks, and a supernatural relationship. Though the album was explicit, sexy, and used one too many cuss words, she ended it on a good note with her moving on song, 'Wide Awake.' After her divorce, she also released a 3D movie.

Now if you are Katy Perry fan, or if you just know a little about her style, you know that she is a candy girl. (See pic)Though her hair is naturally colored black, her hair is often colored, blue, pink and purple.

But that little stunt is over.

With the release of her lead single, 'Roar', she has released four teasers. One showed her burning her blue wig. Another took place at a cemetery where they supposedly buried the old her. The third showed a cat, meowing. He eats something black, then roars. At first, I thought these teasers were a good sign. Maybe she would go back to the way thing were before with her debut Christian album. Then I came to realize that though Katy is weird, at least she is weird in a candy, innocent sort of way. Since she's putting all that behind her, what would become of her now?

She is a cat girl. Her super fans are called 'Katy Cats'. But now, she isn't a cat anymore.
If you haven't guessed it by now, she's a tiger.

'Roar's shows a new side to Katy. It is full of girl power and triumph. Letting people push her around is not a option anymore. Staying in the depths of despair is not longer doable. "I wrote it because I was sick of keeping these feelings inside and not speaking up for myself, which caused a lot of resentment," Miss Perry says, on writing this song.

Starting off, she speaks of the old her. "I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath/Scared to rock the boat and make a mess/I stood for nothing/And feel for everything."

As the song gets faster, she tells the pusher that she will no longer put up with it. "You held me down/But I got up/Get ready cause I've had enough."

What is she going to do now?

Roar! "I got the eye of the tiger/Dancing through the fire/Cause I am champion/And you're gonna hear me Roar/Louder than the than the lion." Though she is softer now, she still has a fierce side. "Now I'm floating like a butterfly/Stinging like a bee/I earned my stripes/I went from zero/To my own hero." Katy has no intention of being merciful either. "You hear my voice/You hear my sound/Like thunder, I'm gonna shake your ground."

When I first heard this song, I was delightfully surprised. Maybe this song doesn't provide the best message, it is really good for Katy! Though I've never been a huge fan because of her inappropriate music, I did enjoy some songs. This is way better than the lead single for Teenage Dream, 'California Gurls',

Through the years, Katy has been through a lot. She started out a Christian artist, but since she has gone astray. I had hopped that her divorce had perhaps woken her up.  When I heard 'Wide Awake', I was hopeful. Then I heard that she said, "My music's about to get f---ing dark."

This song isn't dark, but I pray that the rest of her album, Prism, isn't. 'Roar' talks about girls. Think about this. When a guy ticks another guy off, the another guy beats him up and it's over with. On the other hand, girls can be mad for months. They don't punch. They talk and their words leave a mark. We're emotional people and we when we 'roar', we can hurt people more than guys do. Physical scars don't hurt, but emotional ones definitely do.

Though 'Roar' is pretty clean and its triumphant message is encouraging, when I put it that way, it isn't the best message.

Stars Dance: It Makes My Head Hurt

I decided to post this review on both blogs so you guys can get to it quicker)

So Selena Gomez has came out with a new album. But I'm not going to get into her story. Chances are, you know who she is since she has gotten more popular'. Also, since she got the starring part in that R rated movie.

But like I said, I'm not going to get into that.

I would say, however, that this record is a solo deal, unlike her three other albums which features her band The Scene. Now she's solo. This album is definitely a lot more 'Dance' than the rest of them. You can tell by the title, 'Stars Dance' of course.

Selena Gomez was actually one of the first un-Christian artist's I listen to. After I listened to 'Fly to Your Heart', the song she sang for the original Tinkerbell movie, I loved her. (Okay, that was awhile ago) That was back in 2009.

Some of these songs do sound like their under the influence of Selena Gomez's relationship with Bieber. But to tell you the truth: I wish it wasn't. Because this album is full of... well... 'it', even if it never says it directly.

So here it goes.

Wholesome Content

It was a tad difficult to scrape up some good stuff for this album. But one song makes the cut completely. 'Love Will Remember' is a good song which though talks about a broken relationship, looks to the positive side of things. "We used to be inseparable... I don't how it screwed up... love will remember... forever it will be ours/Even if we try to forget."

'Forget Forever' calls a lover up for hurting her. "Our love was made to rule the world/You came and broke the perfect girl." Though there is a hint toward trying again, in the end, Gomez tells her ex, "Forget forever/Forget you ever knew my name."

On a different note, 'Come and Get It' is a song about committing to one person. "I'm gonna love you for life/I ain't leaving your side," she confesses persistently. Though 'Like a Champion' is a little on the prideful side, you can say its a victorious song. 'Stars Dance' is a song about Gomez making her guy happy.

I'll face it: None of these songs, expect for maybe 'Love Will Remember or 'Forget Forever' are very good at all. In fact, they prove to be annoying and frequent mentions to intense sexual content doesn't help things at all. But other than 'Forget Forever', these songs are happy. That's not something I see everyday. Maybe she's happy for the wrong reasons, but its progress.

And that sums up the good things about these songs.

Unacceptable Content

These songs might be happy but the sexual part of it, in every song, makes me raise an eyebrow. To start of, 'Come and Get It' might have its good points, the overall meaning of the song is 'When you're ready, come and get my body." Similar meanings pop in nearly every song.

'Birthday' though is one of the more tamer songs, talks about everyday partying and compares sexual relationship to cakes and other party things. What's her excuse for doing all this? Every day is her birthday. She's lying about it. "Tell them it's my birthday/They don't know so it's okay... Feeling so fine and free/Crashing into you/Crashing into me/(So yummy)

In 'Slow Down', Selena asks a guy to 'slow down the song' to make the night go slower. The lines definitely talk about s-x. "You know I'm good with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation/Breathe me in/Breathe me out/So amazing." 'Save the Day' encourages what definitely is suggestive towards sex.  'Like a Champion' is a very prideful song. Plus, she also sings, "You gotta show them you're someone else/You've never felt so sexy sexy sexy." (with emphasis on the sex part in that word)

Though 'Write Your Name' is clean, Selena seems like she wants to over committed to her lover. 'Write your name... across my heart/Over every part." 'Undercover' definitely is the worst song in this album. "I look at you/And everything I want to do/Disappears," she begins. "I got a craving for you, baby... you're a sexy machine... I wanna find a place alone in the dark... Find me in the shadows/And put the shades down until tomorrow." Because of the title, Selena could likely be telling this guy to cheat on his girlfriend.

In 'Nobody Does It Like You', Gomez is a bad girl wannabe falling for a bad boy.

Conclusion

First off, I want to say that Selena wasn't very clean in the first place. From her first album with her band, she has always loved partying. So I guess you can say she's always had this in her. Her last album was suggesting toward stuff like this.

There's a lot of sex going on in this album. The lines are not just suggestive. She's not just playing around with the idea anymore. What concerns me is that ironically, Gomez is still on Disney Channel. She says that she has respect for her young fans.

I would believe that. After all, these songs are, again, happy. But the mentions toward sex and her role in her R rated movie shows evidence to something else.

Okay, I'll be honest with this. I had a hard time reviewing this album. For awhile. I even decided to not review it because the songs were so annoying and they literally made my head hurt. They're catchy, believe me. But if Gomez had something else to say other than singing the chorus six times each song, I might be a little more soft. But seriously, these songs lack creativity and it's full of auto tune.

I would say, "Try again," but I really don't want to. Because these albums just keep getting worse and worse.

Do Whatever?

Years ago, Miley was a clean, happy girl, staring in a cute Disney Channel show called Hannah Montana. Now, ever since those ugly pictures got out, she has become a victim of the Hollywood Monster.

A year ago, it was announced that she was engaged. Since then, she has not got married yet, and it might be called off. I can't say for sure. But after nearly three years, Cyrus has finally released some music. Is this like her girl-gone-bad Can't Be Tamed?

No.

Though it is a party song, it is actually and surprisingly slow. In it, Cyrus sticks up for gay people. Her album states that she can't be tamed. This song says that she also can't stop partying. It's called, 'We Can't Stop'

It starts with a super deep, male voice singing, "It's our party/We can do what we want/It's our party/We can say what we want/it's our party." Some lines suggest her pro-gay views. "It's our party/We can love who we want/We can kiss who we want/We can live how we want."

Describing the party, Miley Cyrus doesn't go into a lot of details, but we can't be sure this isn't the cleanest party. "Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere/Hands in the air like we don't care/Cause we came her to have some fun."

Also, there is some profanity in here, profanity that not only shouldn't have been mention, but really doesn't make sense. "If you're not ready to go home/Can I get a h--- no." This party is a all-nighter as well. "'Cause we gonna go all night/Till we see the sunlight, alright?"

Cyrus seems to believe that because it is her party and house, they can make up their own rules and do whatever they want. Not only can they not stop, but they just won't."We like to party/Dancing with Molly." (BTW, 'Molly' is short for a certain drug.) "This is our house/This is our rules/We can't stop/And we won't stop."

Though Miley  shows support for her friends, she certainly chooses a weird way to express that support. "To my home girls here with the big butts/Shaking up here like we're at a strip club... forget the haters 'cuz somebody loves ya."

The details of this party definitely suggests that people are 'getting high' "Everybody in line in the bathroom... we are so turned up here."

Though her behavior in the past few years has shown that she has ran away from God, she actually mentions Him. "Only God can judge us," she sings.

"Yes!" I wanted to scream when I heard that line. "And he will judge you!"

In the Bible, God expresses his hatred for homosexuality and other sins that are mentioned in this song.

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality..."  1st Corinthians 6:9
Eph_5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Of course, people who do sin like that can get to Heaven. They just have to repent and trust in Jesus. The problem with Miley's theology of what's right is that, well, it might be her party, but it's God's world. Her life belongs to God, just like every one else in the world.

This whole thing about God will be the only one to judge them is actually true. Since Miley seems to be sinning against Him, He will have to judge her. "....That I am the Lord God who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth." (Jeremiah 9:23)

The saddest thing about this song is that Miley seems to know that what she's doing isn't the best thing to do, but yet she does it anyway. But again, don't we all do something we know is wrong?

Think about it. If everyone lived, loved, did and kissed whoever and whatever they wanted to, what would happen? IF there was no authority, how would this world end up? It would definitely not be a pretty picture, that's for sure.

Well, Miley makes one point pretty clear.
She can't stop partying.

Just like my head can't stop hurting when I hear this song.

Come and Get It (And Die in the Process)

Ever seen a good girl gone bad?

Oh yes. If you know anything about the media, you know a lot of girls who have 'gone bad.' Girls in Hollywood, always start out clean, smiley, and happy. "How can this girl do anything wrong?" you ask yourself after two weeks of finding out about this person, but then....

Two years later, okay maybe three, or four, (it's a process) rumors start to come out about them doing bad things. Then, they start to act a little differently. Suddenly, you hear about something terrible that they did. And they apologize. Just when you think things are going to be okay... they do something else and you're asking yourself....
"WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?"

Actually, it's not all girls. In fact, mostly everyone who plays the fame game ends up going bad. Examples? Mmm.... Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus. Oh, of course, the heartbreaker, Justin Bieber.

And now, to join the list, in my opinion, Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend... or is it girlfriend? Sorry, it's so hard to keep up with their relationship these days.

Selena Gomez started out as a smiling, happy girl on Disney Channel, starring on Wizards of Waverly Places. She stared in 3 movies before getting a part in a mild, romantic comedy,  called Monte Carlo. During all that, she started dating Justin Bieber, which lead to more attention and death threats. Then, she got a lead role in a R rated movie, called Spring Breakers. In the movie, she's running around in binkis, but she admitted she didn't care.

Now, she has released her newest single, without her band The Scene. 'Come and Get it' is a song which has a somewhat out-of-the-country feeling to it. (I'm not sure which country. Probably India or Jamaica?)  It was leaked and then released. Since then, the song has become quite popular. Gomez ended up performing it at the big awards shows, including The MTV Movie Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.

After a short repeat of the chours, the first verse begins. "You ain't gotta worry/It's an open invitation/I'll be sitting right here real patience." When it comes to love, patience is good, but is this invation good?

Of course, Miss Gomez must mention something about doing things in night. Why? Because she is simply addicted to the love that this person gives her and I'm not even sure if she wants to be addicted. "All day/All night... I can't stop because I love it/Hate the way I love you... Baby, I'm addicted/For life/No lie."

First of all, there's a difference between simply being  obsessed over something or being addicted to something. Obsession is a strong like or love for something. Like maybe you're obsessed with music... or more specially, if you're one of my blogging friends who I haven't met in person, you might be obsessed with One Direction. Of course, there are great obsessions, like being obsessed with Jesus. As long as you have your priorities straight, obsessions can be a good thing. That depends on what you're obsessed with.

An addict is different. Usually, you have a addiction because it makes you feel good, for your own personal benefits. But an addiction to anything isn't good. You're constantly thinking about that one thing and if you're in the addiction because you want to be happy, you're usually just thinking about yourself. Though I've never been addicted to anything, I know for a fact that any addiction can hurt, damage, and ruin relationships. Furthermore, it can ruin your life. Because Gomez uses the word 'addict' instead of 'obsessed', this is more than a healthy relationship.

"I'm not too shy to show I love you/I got no regrets/I love much to hide you/This love ain't finished yet," she sings while eerie sounds echo in the background. "Baby, whenever you're ready/When you're ready come and get it."

So even though she's 'addicted' to this love, she is willing to wait for it. That's a good virtue that I don't see a lot. "Love is patient," says 1st Corinthians 13. Without patience, we can't really love as well as we'd like to.

"You're got the kind of love that I want/Let me get that/And, baby once I get it/I'm yours/No take backs." She sings more positive lyrics of being dedicated to her lover. "Gonna love you for life/I ain't leaving your side." This is a unstoppable love we find out as she sings, "Even if you knock it/Ain't way to stop it."

Now, later, the most interesting lyrics in this song comes. "This love will be the death of me/But I know I'll die happily... because you love me so."

Die physically? Or die to self? Though I am not sure, I can definitely tell this love is changing her.

In a way, that's somewhat like God's love. God's love is the death of us. His forgiveness and sacrifice kills our sinful desires. Not our lives, but ourselves. In order to live for Christ, we have to die to ourselves. And why would we want to live for Christ? Because he died for us and loves us. But you have to get one thing straight. There is only one love that can do that. There is only one love that make us die to ourselves. Sure, love makes us feel good and it does change us. But only God can make us die to ourselves.

While this song encourages committing yourself to one person and talks about the power of love in a positive way, there's something about it that isn't pure. Selena invites her lover to 'come and get it', but what is 'it'? Since she never says what exactly it is, I can't be sure that this is a pure song.

Also, the music video is very suggestive. In it, Selena is multiple places, including underwater at one point. During this, she places her hands all over a man's face as they are nose to nose. Also, though a lot of it, she does a very suggestive dance with a other women who are wearing foreign-looking clothes that show a lot of skin. (Mostly, the other women, not her) I finally got sick of it and turned it off.

So while this song is a lot better than I expected, I have to remember that only one love is satisfying. And addictions... they never satisfy you. Love can change you, but only God can make you die you yourself. If you are obsessed and even addicted to love, please remember that only God's love can completely change you for the better. You can 'get' God's love, but you must be willing to die in process.

'Fix a Heart' Track Review

The Hope in the Hopelessness

Dem Lovato's latest album, Unbroken, is a slightly like her best friend, Selena Gomez's latest album. Repeat slightly. With it, comes a few party songs and a few breakup songs. 'Fix a Heart' is a breakup song, but it's actually a lot different from a  Selena Gomez song.
If you know Demi Lovato, you know her story is very different from a typical star's story. She started off by starring in Camp Rock, which was her big break. In 2008, she released her debut album, Don't Forget. Then, in the following two years, she released Here We Go Again, began to date Joe Jonas, starred in a sequel to Camp Rock and got a lead role in the  Disney Channel sitcom, Sonny with a Chance.
That's where things start to get different.
After releasing Camp Rock 2, she and the rest of the Disney gang started a Camp Rock tour. Then, a little incident lead to punching her backup dancer. Dropping out of the tour, she went into rehab where she was disanoised with bipolar depression and eating disorders. Apparently, she was a cutter for a long time and kept it a secret.
After awhile, she got out of rehab and released her album, Unbroken. She is now telling her story to the world and judging on the X factor. She has changed. Caring much more for her fans who are inspired by her greatly, she seems to know Jesus.
Similar to 'Already Gone' by Kelly Clarkson, 'Fix a Heart' is a very intense breakup song. Instead of have that, 'Get out of my life! You failed me!' tone, (like most breakup song by females) she seems to have a more 'I want this to work, but I know where this is going. I care about you, but I can't do this' tone. In this song, you can tell that she does not want this relationship to end. In the first verse she says, "I only what's best for you/And if I'm not the best than you're stuck."
Then, she cries out:"I tried to serve ties/But I ended up with wounds to bind/It's like you're pulling salt on my cuts."
This song has a very 'hopeless' feeling to it. "Baby, I just ran out of band aids/I don't even know where to start/'Cuz you can't bandage the damage/You never really can fix a heart."
Wow.
Actually, I could compare this song to many  secular songs, but the ones I could compare them to really don't have a very hopeless feeling to them. But.... I think I know where's Demi's getting at. "Please don't get my hopes up," she begs. "Oh, baby, tell me how could you be so cruel?"
I've heard of this. Sometimes, when relationships get too deep, something goes wrong. If you're depending too much on a relationship, it's going to get to the point where your boyfriend/girlfriend gets weary of the pressure and ends it. "I must've held your hand so tight/You didn't have the will to fight/I guess you needed more time to heal."
That is the worst breakup you could go through. Afterwards, there are so many emotions. You're mad at the person for leaving you. You really don't know why this had to happen or what caused it. You're cried out to God, screaming, Why? You're confused. You're scared that you may not be able to move on. You feel so... hopeless.
Demi performed this song on her latest tour. On the tour, she said, "I sang a break up song exactly four years ago, in this place," she paused and sighed. "I ended up getting over that person and I ended up singing another song. I want to let you guys know, if you're going through a heartbreak, which some of you might be, this song is for you guys and that's why I put it on my record."
Putting salt on a cut cleans you, but it is never  used as a remedy now because it hurts so badly.  But it does clean you in the end. So in a way.... there is hope in that line.
This song is written about a breakup, but as Demi said, it's talking about a heartbreak. So, therefore, it could mean something else, something that could relate you..... like, maybe a mistake, a very bad sin that you made in the past. That could be your 'cut.' Or you could think about it as a breakup, a breakup in which you sinned bad, and now it's all over and you know what's right. The point is that we're all haunted by our dark past, it's breaks our hearts. That could relate to this song.
Breakups, especially this one, can really get you down. Even once you slightly get over it, you have a scar. You're scared to love, or to trust someone. You're really hurt, and you don't know who to trust. You wonder if you're living a lie, so you shut yourself up and lock the door to your heart, which can only hurt you even more.
This song is pretty hopeless. Actually, it's sad because a lot of songs are like this, but if you have Christ, it shouldn't bring you down.
Even the strong Christians are super close to Jesus, etc, are haunted by their past, but the truth it that they  don't have to be!
We don't have to beat ourselves up because of our dark past! Instead of just thinking about our mistakes, we can think about how much God has done in our lives now. He died for our sins and had victory over sin. Just think about how much God has changed you and think about how different you are now than then. We don't have to beat ourselves up because God has forgave us. He has changed, saved, and redeemed us.
So, no, you never really can fix a heart. It's not in our power, but Jesus.... He can. He can come into your heart and make you new. He can give  a desire for Him.
So, listen to this song, and know that it just doesn't end there! It doesn't end with "You never really can fix a heart." God can save you! Jesus can fix your heart! You sure can't, but He can. If you're a Christian, think about your past and think about how much God has changed you for the better.
This song is hopeless, but the truth is, that it doesn't have to end there.
Once, Demi tweeted, "Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him… But there's never a doubt in my mind He's gonna pull me through it all."
You don't have to have a doubt either.

RED Album Review

Red Album Review
Taylor Swift is most known for her auto-biography style to her music. She is not afraid to get personal,  even to the point of saying her beau's name. She is more popular than Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Her album, Speak Now, sold 1 million copies in its first week. And now....
Red has appeared.
It has also sold 1 million copies in its 1st week. She is one of the only artists to have hit back-to-back albums.
No wonder.
Taylor Swift knows what girls are going through. After all, she has gone through most of it herself. She has a really realistic lyrics. 'Fearless' was her big break. 'Speak Now' sealed her fame. Both albums were fairly tame.
Now how about Red?

Wholesome Content

Her latest single, 'Begin Again' is beautiful. After an ugly breakup, she goes on her first date and is strengthen by her new relationship. She is about to bring up her old relationship to her date, but then concludes. "For the first time/What's past is past."
'Stay, Stay, Stay' proves to be the sweetest, upbeat track in this album. Swift remembers the times when she lost her temper and got mad at her boyfriend. She admires and cares for him more when he doesn't leave her. "All those times that you didn't leave, it's been occuring to me/I'd like to hang out with you/For my whole life."

In 'I Almost Do', Swift resists the temptation to call her ex again. The bumble gum pop single, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' wisely ends a hurtful relationship. 'The Last Time' does the same. "This is the last time/I won't hurt you anymore."

'Everything is Changed' is a sweet song about new love. 'The Lucky One' displays an honest description of stardom. "And your secretes splashed on the news front page.... You wonder if you'll make it our alive."
'State of Grace's states as-a-matter-of factly, "Love is a ruthless game/Unless you play it good and right."

Unaccpectable Content

In 'I Knew You Were Trouble' Taylor got into an affair with a boy, even  though she always knew he was trouble. She bitter cries, "You never loved me/Or her/Or anyone/Or anything." The same can be said in another pop song, '22', in which she repeats over again, "You look like bad news/I gotta have you."

'All Too Well' has far too many mentions of living (and sleeping) together. "There we are again/in the middle of the night/We're dancing round the kitchen/in the refigerator light. "State of Grace," remembers, "We were alone/Just you and me/Up in your room/Our slates were clean."
In, 'Sad, Beautiful, Tragic', Swift sings sadly sings over and over again, "We had a beautiful, sad, tragic love affair."
In 'Treacherous', Swift describes her dangerous relationship, but clearly states that she does not mind the danger. In fact, she says she likes it. "Follow you home/I'll follow you home."
'Starlight' is about a young couple sneeking into a club party to have the night of their life. 'The Lucky One' uses h---
Though fairly clean, the title track describes the love between her beau and her is 'passionate as sin'.

Conclusion

Since the lead single released, I had been waiting for this album to come out. I listen to the all of the songs the day it came out. Though I liked the tune of '22' and 'All Too Well', I knew it wasn't wholesome... and terribly sinful. I expected a lot more from this album.
Taylor Swift has been playing this reckless game for years. Yet, she's still playing it. She hasn't gave up on it, but she still hasn't found the right boy. It's sad when you think about how many heartbreaks she's had.
Unfortunately, 'Red' is a few steps down from the sweet, 'Fearless', and the fairly clean, 'Speak Now'.
"Love is a ruthless game/Unless you play it good and right."
Is she?
Not at the least.

DEMI Review!!!

Demi Lovato has released her newest album early. So I can review it! Actually, you can only listen to it now. You can buy it on May 14th!
With her lead, amazing single 'Heart Attack', Demi has expressed her fear of falling in love. In her fourth studio album, called Demi, Demi has fun dance tunes and a few raw, slow, and meaningful melodies. She said this new album would be about the joys of life. She also says she expressed herself better in this album.

In the 13 tracks in this album, Demi definitely expressing her character a little better. She shows her unmovable side, her sensitive side, and, unfortunately, a little bit of her dirty side. Believe me, she definitely surprised me. Some of it was a good surprise. Some of it... not so much.

One's thing for sure. Her fan base has gotten older, which means Demi has gotten older. The question is: Is that a good thing?

Wholesome Content

'Heart Attack' speaks of the honest fear of falling in love because you've been hurt before.

'Warrior' is definitely the most encouraging, meaningful track on this album. Much like 'Skyscraper' , Demi speaks of how her scars have only made her stronger. "The pain and all the truth/I wear like a battle wound... Now I'm a warrior/I've got thicker skin... I'm stronger than I've ever been." Speaking of how her mistakes have changed her, she talks of moving on. "I'll never be the same/I'm taking back my life today." She even talks about the people that have hurt her, telling them she will never let the back in her life. " You're a criminal... Nothing left you can stay."

'Really Don't Care' shows Demi's unmovable side. Telling a story about a guy that left her and then wants her back, she won't let him lie to her again. "You can take all your words and your lies/I really don't care." Instead of running from him, Demi refuses to let him scare her. "Now if we meet in the street/I won't be scared."  In 'Shouldn't Come Back', Demi advises a lover that the relationship isn't worth it because of all the pain she goes through because of it.  In 'Without the Love', Demi sees through the lies of a deceiver who doesn't live out his words. "Why are you singing me love songs/What good is a love song/Without the love?"

On a happier side, Demi sings of amazing love in 'Made in the USA.' Singing of how her love is amazing and patriotic, she even sings of the sacrifices she will make. "Baby, I'll break the bullet/And take the blow for love." 'Two Pieces' tells a story of a unmovable friendship of a hurt boy and girl that helps them get through life. "We'll never fall apart/'Cause we fit together/Like two pieces of a broken heart."

Like 'Unbroken', 'Never Been Hurt', Demi promises to love someone as if she's never been hurt. She speaks of her beau in a loving way, singing, "In that fire/You fought through the darkness/And brought me back to life... I will love you/Like I've never been hurt/Run through fire for you/Like I've never been burned." 'Neon Lights' the beauty of seeing and loving just one person but....

Unacceptable Content

One line is suggestive. "You'll be coming home with me tonight."

On that subject, Demi never talks of s-x directly, but a few songs are suggestive. In 'In Case', you can tell the relationship involved living together. Plus, she sings, "In case you miss my arms/How they wrapped around your waist."  In 'Nightingale', Demi begs a boy to be her 'Nightingale'. The whole 'night' thing is a tad bit suggestive.

As good as this album is, terribly, it is not free of profanity. In 'Nightingale', she sings, "Somebody speaks to me/'Cuz I'm feeling like h---."  But even that is not compared to the worst song on this album, 'Fire Starter'. It is definitely Demi's dirty side. Singing of how she looks innocent, she tells people she is not. It starts off: "There's a S written on my chest/Where no one can see." Going on like that, it is pretty terrible, totally disgusting and unacceptable. The worst thing is that Demi yells out, "I'm a bad a--!" twice.

Though 'Something that We're Not' is pretty clean, she sounds pretty mean in it to where it doesn't provide the best influence. In 'Really Don't Care', guest rapper, Cher Llyod gives bad advice. "Hey, Demi, you picked the wrong lover/You should've picked that one/He's cuter than the other."

I found a cropped picture of the album cover, but the whole picture is bad. Though no explicit parts are shown, she is shirtless and covered in black, oil-like liquor.

Conclusion

I have looking forward to this album since I heard Demi was writing new music.  Being really excited when she released it early, I found many, upbeat songs that just made me want to get up and dance, which is what I thought her last album lacked. Most of the songs are clean enough to buy and it is definitely more happy than the last album.

What I love about Demi is that no one can move her, even the people that hurt her. I love how she embraces challenges, won't let anyone bring her down, and looks at the bright side of things. Most of my expectations were met. I expected the suggestive lyrics about s-x, but I was really hoping that this album would be free of profanity. That's why I was really disappointed when I heard 'Fire Starter.'

As good as most of this album is, I can't recommend buying the whole thing. I really didn't think I could either. It's mostly because of the cuss words. Loving Demi, I can't beat her up because of this, but I have to put this in the light. I doubt she's going down Miley Cyrus' road, but I still plan to write her about  this. Though she has grown, these words of profanity show a lack of maturity.

So while Demi is pretty clean, there are a few songs that just ruin the mood. I really want to tell her good job, but I can't encourage the profanity.

Hey!

This is Sarah from Forever Changed! Since I really like reviewing music, I decided to make a whole blog dedicated to it! I am a Christian and I LOVE all kinds of music. I have been obsessed with music since I was 10 or 11. I started listening to non-Christian music when I was 11. Since then, I have realized how confusing, horrible, and twisting the pop culture is. I decided to write this blog to shine a light in the world of music. Music is a great thing, but if you don't have good judgment, it could influence you in  a bad way. My judgment comes from God. Without Him, my judgment would be terrible. I'm just going to say it clearly: If you don't go by God's standards when listening to music, music can be more hurtful than good. Still, I am learning to go by God's standards when listening to music. Thanks for dropping by and hope to see you again soon!

In Christ,
Sarah
